It’s two years since the peak in the UK small cap and mid cap indices. Both fell in excess of 30%, to the October 2022 low and are still down nearly 25%. There has certainly been money to be made in this stock pickers market since the Autumn but the broader trend represented by these two UK indices has gone nowhere since the excitement of January.   This isn’t simply a UK problem, though some would have you believe that is so.
