I omitted an update on Xpediator’s full year results last time due to space. As it was, sales for the year to 31 December were up 19% to £213.2m with growth split equally between acquisitive and organic.Adjusted pretax profit, however, fell sharply to £5.2m due to a £2.4m investment in overheads/IT to accommodate future growth and also problems across several businesses, which are now largely resolved (e-commerce and Braintree warehouse). Overall, eps were down 42% to 2.8p.All divisions were profitable, although the operating margin was squeezed to 2.2% from 3.6%, mainly due to lower margins in Freight Forwarding.
