GAN has reported Q2 results with sales doubling to US$8.3m, broken down to SaaS from real money gaming (US$4.2m, +99%); licencing its online gambling patent (US$1.5m); and GAN’s free-to-play simulated gaming (US$2.6m, +79%). The US accounted for US$7m or 85% of total revenue.The IPO leaves it with US$63.8m net cash and acquisitions are planned. However, the company has unnerved some by saying that FanDuel has “deployed their own digital wallet for its sports gaming business, and therefore GAN does not anticipate sports gaming revenues from FanDuel beyond August.” The shares came off on the news.
