In a generally choppy market, the shares have come off despite a solid H1 update, having said that it was set to exceed this year’s forecast in May. As it was, H1 sales were up 10% - there was strong revenue growth within UK retail against a weak comparative last year. Gross margin improvements seen in H2 18 continued and operating margin was 9% - against 0% in H1 18. Peel Hunt forecasts eps of 7.2p this year with 8p next year, to drop the prospective PE to 8.6.
