Last month I touched on kettle controls business Strix ahead of its market debut on 8 August. The business has Google/Microsoft type operating margins but what was puzzling was the way in which it had joined AIM - with 100% of the equity offloaded by a venture capital backer - and also the very low rating.On SCSW I like to keep an open mind and since then I have met chief executive Mark Bartlett and finance director Ms Raudres Wong.  I met them just an hour or so after they had rung the Stock Exchange Bell to mark their entry to AIM.
