Markets are made up of many views and all should be respected.In a nutshell John says: 1. it is highly unlikely we will suffer a 50% fall in UK markets 2. markets have recovered from all falls of substance since 1987, so there is no need for long term investors in well-researched shares to worry about wider market concerns.  My thoughts on this could fill a book, but I’ll stick to two points.History is a decent guide, though not perfect.
