H&T is one of the few retail offerings to demonstrate explosive growth. That is if you can call a pawnbroker a retailer and especially now when its business becomes dominated by gold purchasing (H&T buys second hand jewellery, which it melts down and sells as a gold ingot). The cash from that however is enabling the pawnbroking units to breakeven even faster accelerating the pace of rollout, facilitating more gold buying and creating a virtuous circle.
