A lack of space meant we omitted an update on Photo Me last month following its results for the year to 30 April. On a continuing basis, they showed revenues of £210m and a pretax profit of £1.9m compared to a loss last year of £6.3m. Sales and profits were boosted by the weak pound, the strong Yen and Euro and on a constant currency transformed what would have been a 5% decline in sales into a 9% rise, whilst operating profits were similarly boosted by £3m. The vending division is the most important part of the group and last year accounted for 79% of revenue and made an operating profit of £12.1m and a 7.3% margin.
