Shares in Claimar Care tripled on the month after it confirmed a bid from Housing21, a large registered social landlord and provider of social care services, at 39p per share in cash, which values it at Â£19.5m. The bid is at a premium of 321% to the close on 8 April â€“ the day before the company first announced it had received an approach. The deal represents an enterprise value of approximately Â£40.3 million, assuming forecast net debt at 30 September of Â£20.8m.We most recently wrote up Claimar as a Buy at just 9.75p in December when we said they could succumb to a bid.
