Character - Launches Classic Doctor Who range

The shares experienced a sharp share price recovery after Character announced the launch of a new Doctor Who product range - "Classic Doctor Who" - and also a positive trading update. The new range of five inch figures will include past and present Doctor Who figures and a range of monsters and will be launched in Spring next year. Character also announced that demand for its toys, both in existing product lines and in new ones, has continued to be strong as it moves into the early stages of the Christmas retail build up. Sales and profits remain substantially ahead of the same period last year and are on course to meet market expectations or possibly exceed them.
