Powys-based Scott Tod is a fast growing supplier of change machines and cash machines/automated teller machines (ATMs) with  an already strong customer base in the pubs and leisure industry where most of its machines are sited. The £2.25m from its flotation last November has funded a rapid growth in the ATM estate (which has virtually doubled in size to 1,947 machines in the six months to 30 June) and it recently announced that profit was running ahead of market expectations. Some customers like pub chain Mitchell and Butler take machines on rental and also pay Scott Tod a percentage of the convenience fee charged to customers.
