Interims show Alpha FX coming out the other side of the COVID disruption, in particular recovering from a near death experience caused by its biggest customer.As I explained in May, Alpha FX had provided collateral to a Norwegian food importer (it provides such collateral for c.60% of its clients based on their credit rating) but the sudden and very sharp move in the Krone:US$ at the onset of COVID-19 left the customer unable to settle its margin commitment. When Alpha closed the position, it threatened to leave a black hole.
