Filtronic - Shares surge on contract wins

Filtronic has announced orders on both sides of its business. First, a follow on win for its mMIMO antennas worth US$1.1m and a statement that this is expected to be a regular sort of order - although CEO Rob Smith says he will announce any unusually large lumps that land. Second, Filtronic won a new multi-year supply contract for its phased array radars with a European defence contractor (worth £3m-£5.7m).Despite these wins, Panmure Gordon remains in abeyance with no upgrades yet.
