I’m not going to attempt to mark Kainos out of ten for issuing newsflow - it tends to keep its light hidden under a bushel and doesn’t often announce contract wins. In that context it’s been pleasing to see an unexpected trading update, which said its Digital Services side (its largest division) remains full steam ahead, with notable new contract wins at the National Offender Management Service and the Home Office.WorkSmart Sales is also trading strongly thanks to the closure of some big implementation deals (including Tullett Prebon), a solid pipeline and the SaaS testing product gaining traction.Healthcare is making progress albeit budgets remain tight in the NHS.
