QPP has continued to dish out its paper for acquisitions once more. This month it acquired a 25.3% stake in Nationwide Accident Repair Services (NARS; 62.75p) for 56.4m new shares. NARS operates 60 bodyshops across the UK and a fleet of mobile repair vans and as QPP currently uses a number of third party garage chains for repair services, being able to bring this in-house would enhance profitability.Separately QPP has continued spreading its tentacles in its North American business with the purchase of a 26% holding in PT Health for 31.5m new shares with an option to buy the rest for 242m new shares next year.
