A strong month for the shares after Optimal said H1 sales increased 50% to US$118m driven by strong organic growth in the Netbanx business together with a huge turnaround in the Neteller e-wallet side. EBITDA has ballooned to US$25.3m from US$16.4m and US$11.2m in the previous two six month periods.With high gross margins on both sides, such sales growth would have led to an even greater profit growth but for the fact that Neteller is investing for future growth (expenses 9% higher and will go higher still as it adds around 100 bodies to headcount in H2).
