The shares have nudged ahead as we trundle towards their inevitable inclusion into the FTSE-250, possibly at the next review, which will trigger buying by index trackers. The maiden results since the listing in May show sales for H1 to end June were Eu267m (up 7% on constant currency), pretax profit was Eu30.8m and underling eps of 11.8 cents. Large holder Dowty has sold into strength with a placing of 45m shares at 265p, almost halving its stake.As we said previously, the HTY story is   about the automotive sub-segment where  HTY supplies plastic cable ties to a who's who of the motor industry.
