Photo-Me vindicated our longstanding support by announcing at the AGM that the year has started with a bang. Pretax profit for Q1 to end July was 25% higher (+33% had there not been an unfavorable move in exchange rates).All countries are profitable on the photo booth side and it highlighted a very substantial improvement in Germany ,driven by growth in the number of booths. France and Japan have provided steady performances. Trade in the sales & servicing arm (12% of sales) is still soft but is now dwarfed by the vending side.Broker Finncap has still to upgrade its forecast from £22m pretax (eps 4.2p).
