You never know where the next good idea is going to spring from. We typically speak with or meet at least a dozen or so companies each month and occasionally we meet with some just to be charitable. A few years ago, we recall a random meeting with Bob Holt of Mears. At the time, Mears was tiny with a market capitalisation of barely £10m and a handful of contracts to maintain social housing.
