Tikit, which supplies software and services to legal firms, has put out very solid looking H1 results. For the six months to 30 June, revenues were up only 1% to Â£13.2m but as expected, last yearâ€™s cost reduction programme and also an increasing amount of turnover from own software sales saw pretax profit up 49% to Â£1.65m. EPS was up 45% to 8.4p. Net cash at the period end was Â£2m, up from Â£0.7m. The cost reduction programme comprised the closure of two small offices in High Wycombe and Yorkshire as well as a near halving in consultant numbers to 23.
