Supergroup -124% rise since April recommendation

It took a couple of days following the Q1 trading statement for shares in the fashion brand to take off again â€“ vertically. For the quarter, sales were up 60% to Â£33m with growth in both retail and wholesale. On the retail side, five new stores were opened including the largest to date at Lakeside in Essex. This has taken the standalone UK store-count to 47, while it also traded from 56 concessions. Since the end of the quarter, two further UK stores have opened, together with eight concessions, seven being women's. Similarly on the wholesale side, which includes overseas franchised stores, six new stores opened including three in Belgium, one in France and two in Germany.
