The shares initially wobbled after the AGM statement said that like-for-like sales for the first 23 weeks of the year were down (around 3-4% on the home shopping side and down 10-14% on the educational supplies side). That is hardly a surprise especially as Findelâ€™s management has had the distraction of a fundraising and restructuring of parts of its business during the period.The home shopping division had a satisfactory start and the decline in sales reflects the strategic focus on existing customers rather than looking to attract new ones.
