We note that Numis has initiated coverage ahead of Powerleagueâ€™sFY07 results, which are expected to be announced on 9 October. Thebroker cites the various attractive features: the fact that 5-a-sidefootball is currently one of the fastest growing sports in the UK; aproven and expanding market which can support 200 branded sites(against 65 in the market at present); high barriers to entry; highreturns; and a low cost per player of Â£5-7, which will insulate thebusiness against any slowdown. Numisâ€™ forecast for the year to bereported is Â£4.8m pretax (eps 3.5p) with Â£5.7m (4.1p) in the currentyear. Tipped at 57p in September â€˜05, the shares remain attractive. Await results. ...
