Lavendon - Four upgrades to forecasts

Amazingly the pace at Lavendon (LVD; 709p) shows no sign of slowing.Latest half year profits, reported in September, showed a three and ahalf fold increase against the same half last year and in the light ofthose results brokers have increased their estimates for the fourthtime this year. Lavendon is a prime beneficiary of health and safety legislationwhich applies to those working at height where there is a risk of afall liable to cause personal injury. The company operates a hire fleetof so-called powered access equipment (such as the scissor lift, whichprovides vertical lift or the boom lift, which provides sideways outreach).
