Recently-floated Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFU), a fuel cell developer, looks ready to move into high gear in the next few months. Over the past decade, the company has developed some exciting technology in the form of its combined heat and power (CHP) units, which can be incorporated into domestic gas fired boilers to provide much higher efficiency for the householder's use of gas as well as electrical heat and power. The company says these units have now passed a major milestone of 10,000 hours continuous use in “real world conditions.” We think that what will set the shares on fire is the anticipated newsflow, with three launch partners, comprising a range of power generators and appliance manufacturers, to be announced ...
