In our last full write up of BATM last October, we suggested that the company would need sales of US$13m per quarter to achieve breakeven. That figure has proved accurate with the company reporting its first profitable half since 2000 based on sales of US$26.2m. Sales to 30 June were up 34% on the comparable H1 last year, largely helped by burgeoning demand for VoIP products and its OEM reseller agreement with Nokia and Alcatel. Overall, BATM reported these segments of sales were up 300% - but this looks only the start.Pretax profit was US$0.8m equating to eps of 0.2 cents.
