A modest director purchase at XP Factory of 51,000 shares at 12.7p by finance director Graham Bird, a former asset manager at Gresham House, caught my attention.  I was already familiar with the company, having spoken twice to Chief Executive Richard Harpham in the past few months, but had not yet written about the business. XP operates two leisure concepts, both of which are part of a growing trend where people are willing to spend on unique experiences rather than traditional passive entertainment.
