Coventry-based MPAC is a specialist machine builder of high-speed production, automation and packaging equipment. Think of any of the products that fill supermarket shelves and chances are MPAC has the capability to ‘make and pack’ these products, as well as ‘monitor and service’ the high-speed equipment. Its projects have included machinery that: places soap bars from infeed conveyors into cartons; flow-wraps chocolate bars; puts bags of cornflakes into boxes; produces pyramid-shaped teabags; puts contact lenses into its packaging; places tissues in boxes; and provides accurate powder micro-dosing into pre-formed blisters used in dry powder inhalers.
