Helped by the three acquisitions completed during 2021/22, the latest H1 saw sales +22% to £122.9m   (+12% organic), pretax profit +23% to £15.9m, eps +19% to 15.3p and interim dividend +5% to 1.4p.  Net cash was £41.5m.At a headline level, Consumer grew its sales by 21% to £76.3m (19% organic growth supported by Sarah J. Maas’ titles of +45% and Harry Potter titles +35% during the 25th anniversary year) and  saw a 6% increase in profit to £8.9m.  The Non-Consumer division (comprising Academic & Professional, Bloomsbury Digital Resources (BDR), and Special Interest) grew sales by 24% to £46.6m (organic growth of 2%) and profit +54% to £7.1m.
