Since my last update, IDOX has completed two small acquisitions to extend its capability in mapping and GIS (GIS systems provide a framework for gathering, managing and analysing data about the physical world). The acquisitions will considerably improve Idox’s offering, specifically within the land and property sector where location visualisation is an emerging requirement. Bigger of the two is exeGesIS, whose GIS software helps to manage conservation areas, natural resources. i.e. assets of ecological, environmental and historical importance.
