Far too many in the investment industry engage in pointless predictions of a highly complex world which, to any useful degree, is beyond prediction. With that thought burning in my ears, I will suggest one imminent possibility for the US stock market, because its implication is painful for the UK and world markets.Previously we have highlighted using Elliott Wave Theory to figure out the larger trends of stock markets. At its simplest a complete bull market is made up of 5 waves, 3 up and 2 down.Turning to the pivotal S&P 500, the prevailing bull market began in March 2009, and the 1st wave progressed 540 points.
