During lockdown, I have found myself increasingly reading the Daily Mail and I can’t believe the number of times I have seen pictures of Kate Middleton and her children (obviously the PR machine is working overtime to make her appear ‘normal’ so perhaps the queen is ready to abdicate? - Editor). I’ve noticed that she often likes to dress her children like characters from a 1960s ladybird book: colourful polo shirts (velvet trims and printed linings), fleeces, hats, socks, tweed jackets and even patterned wellies with pink spots.
