AlphaFX’s shares went to an all-time high of almost £10 after the foreign exchange service provider said it expects results for the year to end December to beat expectations, which had already been increased in August. No surprise to any regular reader as I had written back in July that AlphaFX was ready to “knock the ball out of the park” and we ought to be ready for “trading ahead” news.Driven by new corporate clients (83 net additions to take the total to 565), greater revenue per client, “no pressure on commission rates” and investment in the Canadian office, the latest H1 showed revenues grew 60% to £15.6m and pretax profit was ahead by 70% to £6.7m.
