Softcat’s finals to end July show an incredible 52 consecutive quarters of growth as well as the monster cash generating machine at work. With next to no capex required in its expansion, net cash at the year end was £72.8m, having paid £45.3m in dividends. This time the results are accompanied with another 15.1p special dividend as well as the regular dividend. In the three years since IPO it has returned total cash of £136.8m to shareholders.Revenue growth was very strong, with the company marking its 25th year in existence with sales going over £1bn for the first time (+29%) and gross profit of £175.2m (also +29%).
