Empresaria - Buys high margin US healthcare recruiter

Empresaria has announced a very interesting US healthcare acquisition, partly funded by a placing of new shares at 75p to raise £3.3m. The non exec chairman subscribed for 1m new shares at 75p and now holds 13.9m (28.4%).The acquisition of Pharmaceutical Strategies comprises four US-based recruitment businesses that come as a single package. The initial payment is $7.3m paid on completion and an estimated deferred element of $3.8m is to be paid in April 2016.
