When we last commented on GVC back in June the shares were 90p lower. Their superb bottom left-top right run has continued intact despite the difficulty in the overall stockmarket and even more surprisingly despite the fact the company continues to pay out virtually all of its earnings in dividends (plus special dividends) and has been growing in unregulated/“grey” gaming markets in the teeth of advice from most commentators that this is dodgy.  Latest H1 results show a full six month contribution from the European and South American operations of Sportingbet (versus 4.5 months in H1 last year) and this helped net gaming revenues rise 44% to €105m and pretax profit increase 28% to €19.6m.
