Full year results to 31 July seem solid enough with a stronger H2 boosting full year sales 8% to Â£62.6m. Pretax profit was up 13% at Â£6.8m for eps of 5.1p. Net cash was Â£6.7m.To recap, YouGov is an online market research organisation. At the heart of the business is custom research activity which accounts for three quarters of the business (and grew by c.5%). This activity is performed using a large online panel of responders who comprise a broad spectrum of society and who answer questions that corporates put to them and this forms the basis for Yougov's research.
