The shares finally exploded upwards after eOne released a positive trading update that said H1 revenues were up by over 20%. As part of an annual review, its content library has also recently been independently valued at over US$250m (Â£160m), 14% up on 2009. The film side performed well and is expected to be well up (circa 30% in H1) driven by volume increases (60 film releases against 51 in the prior comparable period) and the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse film in the UK. The DVD will be released in December.
