Our decision to topslice the shares in February at 139p has been vindicated with the company announcing that although results will be in line with expectations, recent growth has been more muted than what we have become accustomed to expect from EDD. Clearly the government is keeping an eye on its funding commitments in all areas including that to training organisations and further education colleges.
