A turn up for the books was that the two bidders (a US retailer and then a retailer/insurer) who showed up in September have now absconded after failing to agree a sufficiently high offer price whilst in their place a third bidder (an outsourcer) is now contemplating an offer.That news largely overshadows the H1 results to 30 June. Overall revenues were up 18% to Â£9.4m. The loss before tax was Â£2m reflecting one-off restructuring costs and an unfavourable movement in the dollar exchange rate. Adjusting for that, the loss was Â£0.6m from the Â£0.3m loss in H108. Cash balance at the period end stood at Â£3.5m.Servicepower has two main business streams.
