As part of a consortium, Scott Wilson has been commissioned to conduct a â€œcomprehensive feasibility studyâ€ to explore how power held within the Mersey's tidal ranges should be harnessed to generate electricity. The contract is worth c.Â£5m over two years. Separately, Scott Wilson also issued a preclose statement ahead of interims on 15 December. This said it continues to see significant success across a number of categories and also a better than expected profit from joint ventures. Interims will therefore be ahead of expectation. The shares hit a 52 week high of 130p during the month, a 189% gain on our tip at 45p in April, although they have since retraced a little. Hold/Buy. ...
