The shares have given up virtually all the gains of the past five years. During the month Low & Bonar issued a Q3 statement that said it anticipates FY08 results to be in line with market expectations. The surprise disposal of the flooring division for Â£123m is complete, chopping debt to Â£100m and leaves the company focused on its more resilient specialist textiles business. Raw material prices have finally begun to fall but the economic backdrop is challenging and Numis has shaded FY08 and FY09 eps targets to 10.2p with 11.6p respectively.
