Gordon Brown recently suggested that the thousands of people losing their jobs (including bankers presumably? - Editor) should re-train on programmes to get work insulating houses. That wasn't the only thing attracting attention to Eaga. Instead, it was a very positive trading update that said trading so far this year has been in line with management expectations. In particular, Eaga's managed service business is starting to benefit from the £74m increase in government funding for the Warm Front programme, which is tacking the problem of fuel poverty.
