Ahead of results on 3 December, Dawson has reported that its positive trading momentum has continued, with results for the year to 30 September coming in slightly ahead of market expectations. In particular, a strong performance has been seen at Dawson News where efficiency gains have driven profitability improvements. Real efficiency gains have driven profitability improvements through the year. Best practice transfer, packing line optimisation and the regionalisation in Kent have all contributed to successful margin expansion.
