The shares fell after Flying Brands reported that results for theyear to 31 December will fall short of expectations, largely due to theimpact of the postal strikes which have resulted in reduced ordervolumes and delays in getting catalogues to customers for both itsflowers by post and gardening direct businesses. The poor weather inAugust also depressed customers' responses to Gardening Direct'smarketing campaign and the postal strikes may further impact theimportant Flying Flowersâ€™ Christmas campaign.
