Alterian has released H1 results to 30 September showing sales up27% to Â£5.3m (33% on constant exchange rates) and an adjusted pretaxloss of Â£1.5m, up from a loss of Â£0.9m. The increased loss reflects aninvestment programme that begun in Q4 to widen the companyâ€™s channel tomarket beyond the Marketing Service Providers (MSP) it has historicallytargeted.The opportunity to widen its reseller base is a direct consequenceof the three recent acquisitions (Dynamics Direct, Nvigorate, CampaignCalculus) in the last financial year, which broadened the group'soffering to include email and on-line marketing, marketing operationsmanagement and marketing optimisation software.
