Kewill has issued a trading update ahead of reporting H1 results on 15 November, with results expected to be in line with market forecasts (operating profit in H1 of £1.1m). Net cash as at 30 September was £18.9m. Kewill comprises three divisions, all producing supply-chain software. As expected, the international trade management business continued to do well and has recently won new contracts. The shipping management side has performed slightly below what was expected. 12 large enterprise level shipping contracts were won in H1, two more than H1 last year although this has been offset by a reduction in sales of lower end products.
