Sondex reported a 32% increase in sales to £9.7m for the first six months to 31 August, including a two-month £1.5m contribution from Geolink. However, Sterling’s climb to US$1.8 compared to US$1.6 the year before meant that reported revenue was £0.7m lower. In addition, three orders worth £1.5m for the National Iranian oil company were completed (and costs recognised) but as Sondex awaited letters of credit before shipment it did not book these during the period.
