Sales in the six months to 31 December lifted 54% to £15.5m boosted by the acquisition in February last year of WCS and the September acquisition of MDT. Excluding acquisitions, organic sales growth was 49%. Pretax profit lifted by 34% to £1.58m for eps of 8.4p, up 40%.The historical core business of PM, supplying on board weighing systems for the bulk haulage industry to ensure drivers don't overload their lorries (Bulkweigh), accounted for 33% of turnover. But this proportion is  falling as the Binweigh division continues to grow, now 67% of sales.
