Since our last update note, Kleeneze has issued a good trading update at the AGM, two acquisitions and an investment in digital television. The trading update had few surprises with both the Kleeneze direct-to-home business and Farepak hampers side trading well. Despite distributor numbers being stable, sales at Kleeneze UK for the first four months are ahead of last year helped by re-designed catalogues, increased pagination and higher average sales per distributor. The Dutch operation  launched in September has 1,000 distributors. Chief executive, William Rollason, has also delivered the deals he promised with two deals.
